We repair before we replace
When your AC quits in July, you don’t have time to wait days for someone to show up. We come out quickly, find what actually failed and fix it. Most air conditioning problems come down to one part: a capacitor, a contactor, a fan motor or a sensor. When the part is on the truck, the repair often happens on the same visit.
If a part gets your system through another five summers, that’s what we recommend. Our customers tell us that’s the difference: a straight answer instead of a sales pitch for a new system.
When replacement makes more sense
Age, repeated breakdowns or an outdated refrigerant can make a new system the honest answer. When that’s the case, we put the repair price next to the replacement price and walk you through the options for your home and budget. New systems are usually installed the next day, come with full factory warranties, and 0% financing is available on approved credit. See new system installation for how we size and install.
Older homes without ductwork
Plenty of Main Line houses were built with radiators and no ducts. An air handler in the attic can cool the top floor through short duct runs, without opening up the plaster walls below. If that sounds like your house, our Bryn Mawr page goes into the options.
Keep it from happening again
Most summer breakdowns start as small problems a spring tune-up would catch. Our $54 Seasonal Maintenance visit cleans and checks your system before the first heat wave.
